"I imagine the kingdom of God to be where everyone expresses love and care for others and where there is harmony and peace. The Episcopal Bookstore would be the bookstore in the kingdom, for the staff always seem to operate by kingdom values. My experience over the years has been nothing but topnotch."

A regular mainstay of many (most?) Episcopal church offices, this calendar is renown for its usefulness. Major and minor saints days and Ember Days are noted in the square for their day. Feasts and festivals in the Islamic, Jewish, Lutheran, Orthodox, Roman Catholic, calendars are listed as well. Civil observances are listed too. Small artistic renderings embellish each month, making this calendar a joy to have around.
Part of the top half of each month’s page includes the calendar for the following year which is an immense help in planning for next year.
This calendar includes the listings from the most recent General Convention as described in Holy Women, Holy Men.
Each page measures 9 ½ tall by inches by 12 inches wide. It displays one month at a time.

This calendar has a permanent position on my desk. It is durable, has all the important feast days and holidays, including those of other faiths, and helps me stay connected to my faith throughout the year. I especially love that it covers a two-year period. Only complaint is that the paper is somewhat thinner this year, though it is still sturdy (hence 4 stars instead of 5). In previous years it was virtually indestructible!

christian plannnig calendar 2012 |
not your fault, but the christian planning calendar 2013 is horrible. cheesy paper, no substance to the calendar at all. shiny paper so it's hard to write on. i contacted the morehouse publisher who said he'd give the guy in charge of calendars my complaints and that guy would give me an explanation.I said I didn't want an explanation, i wanted a better product. so far no response.

The information is great. The paper stock is lousy |
Well the information is great. The paper stock is lousy very thin and it's slick so ink smudges and pencil is hard to read.

I have been buying the Christian Planning Calendar for many years. It is excellent. It has the religious holidays of all the major religions, and it has space on each date for engagements and info. I live in France and the service is excellent. I generally receive it about two weeks after placing the order. And the price is right.

Durability is sorely inadequate. |
This years calendar has reduced the calendar pages from card stock to paper. I fear it will prove to be far less durable in use through the year. A disappointment after using this type calendar for over 20 years. I still love the layout and content, but durability is sorely inadequate.
