Black beads separate Leopard Poppy Jasper; the set is completed with a silver-colored Celtic cross. These are natural stones and vary in color. The smooth beads are more substantial than the traditional glass beads used in a rosary. There are three distinct sizes of beads in each set: Spacer beads measure 4 mm, Prayer beads measure 6 mm and Cruciform beads measure 10 mm.
Anglican Prayer Beads combine elements of both the Eastern Orthodox prayer rope and the Western Church's Rosary. These Anglican rosary beads are lovingly hand-strung and knotted between each bead by hermits of the Solitaries of DeKoven, an emerging religious order within the Episcopal Church. As each bead set is made it is prayed over for the future user as well as for the Church and the world.
Included with each bead set is an instructional booklet that includes suggested prayers.

I purchased these lovely beads for a gift to my dear friend who is 80 yers old and new to the Episcopal church. Lively and quick of mind she is a delight to all who meet her. Before my planned date of gifting to her she became very ill and was hospitalized. By God's grace she is now at home and confined for 4-5 months. What an opportunity to learn the Anglican Prayer Bead usage and enrich her spiritual journey.
The beads are so pleasant in your hands, almost comforting, the beautiful cross is crafted in a way to compliment the beads. immaculate detail embelishes the design and placement of each bead in a magnificiant way. Strong, sturdy well crafted item and I am delighted with the purchase.

I have never had prayer beads before, and these are simply beautiful, with a helpful instruction guide. I use the beads every day, and carry them with me.
